I’ll be demonstrating painting from a live model at the Lexington Art League , as part of their event, Fourth Friday: A Figure Study. That will also be the opening reception for an exhibition of sixteen of my figurative works at the League. The show will be up through February 5. It’s great to be exhibiting in the Bluegrass.

Tickets to the Fourth Friday event are $5.00 at the door. In addition to my exhibition and painting demonstration, there will be live music, a bar, and a chance to try your own hand at drawing the figure from life–that’s strictly optional!

I’ll be wearing my usual outfit for painting, seen below, yesterday, while I was painting Ann’s portrait in my studio.
